Fruit before Gifts: Attitude Fruit
As we have seen, the Spirit is doing a work in us. We must grow in this work, and this work He is doing is by the fruit of love. All the other "fruits" are really expressions of love for ourselves, for others, and this week, for God. Our attitude towards God and how we show our love for Him is critical. We may want great gifts from God, but let's be sure to exalt God to the proper place in our lives.
Join us this week as we seek to understand the development of the Fruit of the Spirit. When we begin to develop the necessary fruit, that is when God will be begin to entrust to our care the necessary gifts. Many of which follow after we receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
